Prizes for best Oral and Poster Communications
The 13th International Chemical and Biological Engineering Conference (CHEMPOR 2018) is pleased to inform that a 500€ prize will be awarded to the best Oral and Poster Communications presented during the conference.
The Organizing Committee of the 13th International Chemical and Biological Engineering Conference (CHEMPOR 2018) would like to remind that the Professor Almiro e Castro Award will be once again awarded during the conference, held in Aveiro, Portugal, from the 2nd to the 4th of October, 2018. The Professor Almiro e Castro Award was introduced in 2014 by PARALAB - Equipamentos Industriais e de Laboratório SA to recognize the scientific merit of a teacher or researcher of Portuguese nationality, under 45 years old, which has distinguished himself/herself in the last three years in the field of Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering or related areas. The award amount for the 2018 edition is 5000€. Candidates must formalize their application until September 5th. Full award regulations are available here.
The 13th International Chemical and Biological Engineering Conference (CHEMPOR 2018), organized by the University of Aveiro and Ordem dos Engenheiros (the Portuguese Engineers Association), will be held in Aveiro - Portugal, from the 2nd to the 4th of October, 2018.
CHEMPOR has been regularly organized in Portugal since 1975 and returns to Aveiro for the second time. This series of conferences is a forum for discussion of recent developments and future directions in different areas of chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, biotechnology and biological engineering. Traditionally, CHEMPOR is a dynamic gathering of scientists and professionals from Industry and Academia, and has the institutional sponsorship of the Portuguese Chemical Society and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology.
